It's the thought that counts...right?

So I suppose I haven't been a good friend to my swell blog End of Cinema. I have left you unattended now for almost a month. Instead of nurturing you, I have ditched you on several occasions for my new, somewhat cooler friend A Week at the Most. I am such a bastard.

So personal wise and, of course, not to mention film wise has been good lately. I received a raise at work (woo hoo!) with another one here in the not so distant future. While living the now, things are good. Chiaki started a new job two months back and likes it more as well. Things are good. About a month or so ago I helped my newly rekindled dear friend Bo on his amazing new short film Sweet Ladies, Good Night, which was just simply one hell of an experience. It is always a very professional, enthralling, and extremely worthwhile time working on his films. The man is a genius if you ask me. You can check some early screen shots of the film (the above photo being one) at his personal website now. The flick should be completely edited and scored hopefully sometime this Autumn. The man and his lovely wife Sarah are moving back to New York to pursue their blossoming careers in a few weeks and will be dearly missed by Chiaki and I. Fear not, our visit in October, will thankfully be upon us soon enough. If all works out as planned, a move to the Big Apple for the Fowlers' may come as early as Autumn next year as well.

Sorry, for the insanely small entry this time around but I should be back around on Thursday or Friday with some more of my madcap commentary on life and film. Promise! Then again you know how reliable those can be...
